ArubaTaxiApp is a ride dispatch platform that connects you with official, independent taxi drivers in Aruba. We do not operate vehicles, employ drivers, or set fares. Our role is strictly to facilitate the ride request and help you connect with a nearby licensed driver.

No. We are not a taxi company. We are a technology platform that helps you find a driver. All drivers on the app are fully independent and licensed by Aruba’s Department of Public Transportation (DTP).

Open the Aruba Taxi App, enter your pickup and drop-off locations, number of passengers, and number of luggage pieces, then tap to confirm the ride request.

This helps drivers prepare appropriately for your ride and makes sure that the Taxi can accommodate you. Fees may apply for additional luggage or trunk use.

No. We do not provide fare estimates. Please ask your driver before starting the trip to confirm the fare.

Aruba Taxi App is a dispatch service connecting riders to independent taxis, therefore fares are priced by drivers.

Drivers follow pricing based on the government official price list in Aruba.

ArubaTaxiApp charges a $4 USD convenience fee per ride to support app maintenance, hosting, and customer support. This allows us to keep the app free for drivers, which in turn ensures more drivers are available for passengers.

Yes. Drivers may apply the following:

• $2 for luggage (non-airport trips)

• $2 for trunk use

• $3 surcharge on Sundays, holidays, or rides between 11 PM – 7 AM

• Waiting time charges may also apply

Not yet. All rides are currently cash-only. We plan to add secure in-app credit card payments in the near future.

Yes, but you must specify the number of luggage pieces when booking. Each passenger is allowed 1 carry-on and 1 suitcase on airport trips. Other rides or extra luggage will incur extra fees.

All fares are displayed in USD, but you can pay in AWG (Aruban florins). Drivers will convert the fare at a fixed rate of 1 USD = 1.80 AWG.

The app is available 24/7, but driver availability may vary, especially during holidays or nighttime hours (11 PM – 7 AM).

You must be at least 18 years old to use ArubaTaxiApp.

Yes. After your trip ends, you’ll be prompted to rate your driver. While we monitor feedback, ArubaTaxiApp does not actively manage disputes unless they’re serious or repeated.
