Yes. The following surcharges apply based on official government regulations:

  • $10 airport surcharge on all rides from Queen Beatrix International Airport
  • $5 surcharge on Sundays, public holidays, and rides between 11 PM and 7 AM (December 24 through January 1 also applies)
  • $3 per extra passenger above 4 passengers (maximum 7 passengers per taxi)
  • $3 per extra luggage piece beyond the free allowance on airport/hotel transfers
  • $3 flat trunk fee on non-airport trips
  • $1 per minute waiting time

ArubaTaxiApp charges a $4 USD convenience fee per ride to support app maintenance, hosting, and customer support. This allows us to keep the app free for drivers, which in turn ensures more drivers are available for passengers.

Yes. After your trip ends, you’ll be prompted to rate your driver. While we monitor feedback, ArubaTaxiApp does not actively manage disputes unless they’re serious or repeated.

Yes, but specify the number of luggage pieces when booking. On airport and hotel transfer rides each passenger is allowed 1 suitcase and 1 backpack or handbag free of charge. Each additional piece is $3. Laptop bags, carry-ons, and mobility equipment cannot be charged for.

This helps drivers prepare appropriately for your ride and makes sure that the Taxi can accommodate you. Fees may apply for additional luggage or trunk use.

The standard fare covers 1 to 4 passengers. Each additional passenger above 4 is charged $3 per person. The maximum number of passengers per taxi is 7.

Taxi drivers in Aruba are not permitted to charge more than the official government-approved fares. If you believe you have been overcharged, report it to the Department of Public Transportation (DTP) at taxi.aw, by phone at +297 594 8660 or +297 564 4050, or by email at complaints@dtp.gov.aw

The driver is not legally responsible for lost items, but any found items are delivered to the Department of Public Transportation or the nearest police station. Always check the vehicle before exiting.
